The Opportunity

Temporary Full Time 1.0 FTE, 77.50 hours bi-weekly, Evenings

Located in the charming community of Barrhead, an hour northwest of Edmonton, our supportive living care site provides a home-like setting for 42 residents, offering comfort and accessibility to essential health services.

We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate: $21.08 - $26.42

As a compassionate Health Care Aide (HCA), you will provide personalized support and advocacy to residents and their families, ensuring high-quality care focused on individual needs. Your responsibilities may include assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfer, all while maintaining a safe and caring environment.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
  • Completed Bridging Modules, if required
  • Effective reading, writing, and spoken English skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
