We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced, goal-oriented Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager with a proven track record of successful delivery of large IT projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the SDLC (waterfall and agile methodologies) and the ability to develop solution recommendations. They will also have experience with IT project leadership, including project management, taking initiative to drive projects forward, risk management, resource allocation, project planning and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related discipline
  • Experience with business analysis including analyzing and defining business requirements, developing business cases and identifying strategic processes and technological solutions
  • Ability to research, investigate and maintain a good working knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Experience with database design and analysis, including developing data models, business intelligence data modelling and creating business intelligence tools and reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Desired Qualifications:
  • Project management certification such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master, and/or Organizational Change Management certification (ProSci)
