Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

The Role

The Quality Assurance Manager is a critical position that requires a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of safety, quality, and accuracy. As a leader, you must be able to exercise the necessary authority to ensure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Management Plan that meets Global Food Safety Initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate risk assessments and identify gaps to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer base.
  • Provide site-specific training to personnel on quality assurance procedures.
  • Track data required for internal and external regulatory reports.
  • Maintain the SQAP for raw material (seafood) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 2 or more years of experience in the food industry.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor with demonstrated supervisory skills and leadership ability.
  • Experience with the development and use of HACCP programs.
  • Experience in writing Quality Assurance-related procedures, protocols, and manuals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, specification software, documentation software, and ERP software.
