Key Responsibilities- Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods and materials
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer complaints or concerns
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform preventive maintenance
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo
- AZ class license
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and varying weather conditions. A valid AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement are required for this position.
