Job Title: Mobile Equipment Program Manager

Drax Group is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile equipment fleet across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit all North American mobile equipment pedestrian interfaces to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with mobile equipment-involved incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Audit training records and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors to facilitate the onboarding of new mobile equipment.
  • Evaluate equipment suitability for specific tasks to ensure the selection of the right tools for the job.
  • Optimize traffic flow within fibre yards to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with rail regulations at all sites.
  • Maintain up-to-date rail training and provide on-site support during regulatory inspections.
About You:
  • Must have Ives Train certification.
  • Extensive experience operating mobile equipment in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of pellet operations and process flow within pellet production or similar environments.
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
Leadership & Management:
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory best practices are followed.
  • Support site leadership in addressing mobile equipment-related inquiries and challenges.
