About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Service Manager to join our team at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all Food and Beverage for functions held in the Hotel and all details about functions being held in all banquet and meeting rooms while providing an exceptional banquet experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of all Food and Beverage for functions held in the Hotel and all details about functions being held in all banquet and meeting rooms.
  • Deliver an elevated experience for our guests within our Banquet department.
  • Work collaboratively with our dynamic team to focus on collaboration and exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure that all functions are executed with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage and motivate a team of banquet staff to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve banquet operations and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to create menus and promotions that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Ensure that all banquet events are executed with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Serving it Right Certification.
  • Excellent food and wine knowledge.
  • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to motivate and support employees.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
