Position Overview

The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist - Adult Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing Speech-Language Pathology services to clients in facilities and communities within our region.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, identify, and treat clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies/services to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement programs for clients, including discharge planning and follow-up

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba or ability to obtain
  • Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) or the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred

Working Conditions

  • Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time without resting
  • Must be able to work under stress and time constraints
