The Chemical Laboratory Specialist will report to the Lab Supervisor in the Mill.

This position is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized chemical, quantitative, and metallurgical test work
  • Standardize chemical laboratory solutions
  • Acquire a good understanding of the milling process
  • Assist with production or environmental studies as required
  • Maintain the condition and cleanliness of all tools, equipment, and work area

Requirements:

  • Graduate from Provincial Technical School course in Chemical Technology, from University in Chemistry, or an equivalent course of study
  • Ability to perform job duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • Ability to perform varied and technical tasks with a thorough knowledge of metallurgical and chemical principles as well as judgment are required
  • Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
