Job Summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in the assessment, treatment, and education of clients requiring physiotherapy intervention.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to establish and revise treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers to provide education and recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to support staff as needed.

Other Responsibilities

  • Remain active and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external education activities to stay current with best practices.
  • Adhere to Bayshore HealthCare's policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and health and safety activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discuss sensitive information only with authorized personnel.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree or recognized equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Preference for three years of experience providing physiotherapy services.
