Job Title: Junior Baker

We are seeking a skilled Junior Baker to join our team at Gina's Gelato. As a Junior Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet treats, including cakes, pastries, and bread.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
  • Operate machinery.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Food preparation.
  • Food safety/handling skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Food preparation/professional cooking/kitchen assistant experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Standing for extended periods.
