Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on various aspects of care, including medication management, wound care, and disease prevention.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote best practices in emergency nursing.
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency nursing or a related field, with a strong focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior staff members.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing emergency nursing practice in BC.
