About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at Avanica furniture & Decor. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive business growth and sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Promotional Materials

Design and create engaging promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content, to showcase our products and services.

Hire, Train, Direct and Motivate Staff

Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Manage Contracts

Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Market Business Services

Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote our business services, including advertising, public relations, and social media marketing.

Plan and Control Budget and Expenditures

Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

Write and Edit Press Releases, Newsletter and Communications Materials

Compose and edit press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials to promote our brand and services.

Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments

Oversee the development and implementation of communication strategies and information programs across various departments.

Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments

Manage media relations on behalf of our organization, ensuring effective communication with the media and the public.

Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments

Coordinate the publicization of activities and events on behalf of our organization, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.

Plan, Direct and Evaluate the Activities of Firms and Departments

Develop and execute advertising campaigns to promote the sales of our products and services.

Work Term: Permanent

This is a permanent position, offering a stable and rewarding career opportunity.

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Hours: 30 hours per week

This role requires a commitment of 30 hours per week.

Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales and marketing
