About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Diesel Pro Truck Service Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair
    • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks to identify and diagnose mechanical issues
    • Repair or replace parts and components as needed to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting
    • Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify complex mechanical issues
    • Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including explaining work performed and future repair requirements
    • Ensure all customer interactions are professional and courteous
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow and efficient repairs
    • Coach and instruct apprentices as needed to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Work Environment
    • Workshop environment with exposure to heavy machinery and equipment
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
