Job Overview:
Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a highly skilled Retail Supervisor to join our Store Leadership Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring exceptional consumer experiences across our 430+ retail stores worldwide.

About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee store operations, train associates, and execute merchandising directives. You will leverage your knowledge of consumer behavior and product training to drive department sales and maintain high store standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with the store leadership team to ensure accurate execution of procedures and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sales floor leadership to drive sales and ensure associates engage consumers to provide a personalized shopping experience.
  • Assist in training and coaching associates on product knowledge, visual merchandising, and communication skills.
  • Solicit feedback from consumers through surveys and use it to improve store operations and associate performance.
  • Support store leadership in executing merchandising directives, ensuring timely replenishment of the salesfloor, and maintaining high store standards for product presentation and cleanliness.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exchange ideas and information with the store leadership team, associates, and consumers. Furthermore, you should be available to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts. Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
