About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Email Marketing Specialist to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. as a Digital Campaign Developer. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing global customer-first marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Design and implement global customer-first marketing strategies, ensuring that creative and media agency resources are best aligned to support global and divisional needs.
  2. Ensure Best Practices and Global Standards: Ensure best practices and global standards are implemented and followed, tracking global benchmarks and goals to measure performance.
  3. Monitor Campaign Development: Monitor accuracy of campaign development (error rates) and adherence to campaign timelines.
  4. Execute and Adhere to Quality Control Procedures: Execute and adhere to quality control procedures and workback schedules for all campaigns.
  5. Manage Lead Times and Stakeholders: Manage lead times with marketing partners and other key stakeholders to ensure receipt of all design and data points in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  1. 5-8 Years of Experience: 5-8 years of experience working directly with HTML email and web templates using a text-based tool such as Notepad ++ or Adobe Dreamweaver.
  2. Coding and Design Skills: 5-8 years of experience in coding emails, including knowledge of responsive design for mobile, and 3-5 years of experience creating and editing emails for delivery with a product such as Responsys, Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  3. Marketing Design Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing design, designing advertising and customer communications in an online environment.
  4. Strong Understanding of Email Tools: Strong understanding of email tools like Litmus and Movable Ink and accessibility guidelines.
Preferred Skills
  1. Fluent Written and Spoken English: Fluent written and spoken English; in addition, French language skills is preferred.
  2. Adobe Creative Cloud Experience: Experienced user of Adobe Creative Cloud and solid experience working with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, and/or animated GIFs is a plus.
  3. Modern Web Technologies: Fluency in modern web technologies such as Java, Jason or CSS and others.

Education and Certificates
  1. HTML, CSS Accreditation or Four-Year Degree: HTML, CSS accreditation or four-year degree [Marketing, Design or related field preferred].
