We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our dynamic team as an NSWOC. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated registered nurse (RN) specializing in wound, ostomy and continence to make a meaningful impact.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive wound assessments, ostomy care, and continence management in clients' homes or clinics.
- Leverage your specialized skills and knowledge to create personalized care plans that promote healing, comfort, and improved quality of life for clients.
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless client care and achieve optimal outcomes.
About You:
- A licensed Registered Nurse in the province of practice with a strong background in wound care.
- Completion of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program or equivalent experience.
- Three years of experience in community or acute care setting focusing on wound care preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, staff, and the public.
