Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Assistant to join our team at Aspire Bakeries. This role will be responsible for ensuring proper packaging materials are ready for production, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to work efficiently with speed and accuracy. They must also be a team player who is dependable and punctual, with experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper packaging materials are ready for production
  • Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
  • Communicate any quality or performance issues to the supervisor
  • Work closely with Machine Operators and other crew members
Requirements
  • Completed (minimum) Grade 12 education or equivalent, with basic math skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with speed and accuracy
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Salary and Benefits

As a Production Assistant, you can expect a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
