At Sony PlayStation, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity in the entertainment industry. As a UI Technical Artist, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products and services.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced UI Technical Artist to join our Haven Entertainment Studios project team. In this role, you'll work closely with our programming team to develop our UI toolkit, translating UI direction into effective widgets using your technical expertise in composition and animation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement the project's UI toolkit.
  • Analyze telemetry data to identify areas for improvement and optimize UI quality and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UI design and development.
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality UI content in AAA console games.
  • Strong understanding of graphical parameters related to UI, including resolution, scale, and aspect ratio.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 60fps game development and UI content creation.
