Job Title: School Bus Driver

About the Role:
At First Student, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and employees. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our drivers are the face of our company, and we strive to provide a positive experience for our students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide assistance to students with boarding and exiting the bus.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
