Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Equipment Specialist to join our team at VGM Wire & Automation. As an Electronics Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing electronic equipment and assemblies, diagnosing and locating circuit, component and equipment faults, and adjusting, aligning, replacing or repairing electronic equipment and assemblies.

Work Setting: This role involves on-site customer service, working with clients to resolve technical issues and provide expert advice on electronic equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to identify faults and areas for improvement
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults using specialized tools and equipment
  • Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports to document work completed and provide a record of maintenance history

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electronics equipment maintenance and repair

Work Environment: This role involves working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
