About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food items to order, following established recipes and presentation standards.
    • Portion and package food items for take-out and delivery.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Restock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring adequate supplies for customer demand.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Customer Service
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, as needed.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation
    • Operate conventional ovens, deep fryers, and other kitchen equipment, following established safety protocols.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
      • Will train on the job.
    • Work Environment and Physical Demands
      • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
      • Standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
      • Overtime required, as needed.

      • Team player with excellent communication skills.
