About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team at U.Ps and Company inc. as a Furniture Restoration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and refinishing wood furniture to its original beauty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Upholstery and Refinishing: Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts, and lay out, cut, fabricate, and install new upholstery.
  • Wood Furniture Restoration: Repair furniture frames, refinish wood surfaces, and operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create high-quality finishes.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all work is done to a high standard, paying close attention to detail and quality.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate. A permanent position with 40 hours per week is available.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
