Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Equinox. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Conduct regular inspections of fitness equipment and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including the locker room, storage areas, and exercise rooms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all facility equipment and systems.
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
