Job Title: Systems Integration Developer

Iron Systems is a leading provider of custom-built computing infrastructure platforms, offering innovative solutions for customers worldwide. As a Systems Integration Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing integrations through APIs, utilizing various tools such as Postman.

Scope of the Service
  • Design and develop integrations through APIs using various tools such as Postman.
  • Develop mapping of various source and target data types (database, flat file, x12, json, XML) with various transport mechanisms (SQL, REST HTTP, SOAP, FTP, FTPS, Email, etc.).
  • Collaborate with onboarding teams, developers, and others to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain API RAML or file specification documentation.
  • Create data extraction, cleansing, and formatting scripts.
  • Document custom logic specific to individual integrations.
  • Systems Integration Developer must possess an enhanced understanding of the technical environment and functional expectations of the software, as well as a keen desire to independently learn and recommend new software.
Qualifications:
  • Resources must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to programming.
  • Experience designing and/or implementing web applications.
  • The resource must possess 5 years of demonstrated experience in:
    • Writing code that was well-designed, tested, and put into a production environment.
    • Developing or supporting web applications.
    • RESTful API design & development.
    • Data mapping and transformation skills using modern integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional development environment.
    • Version control such as Git or Azure.
    • Automation servers such as Jenkins.
    • Shell scripts, such as Bash.
    • CI using software such as Jenkins, Azure, and Git.
  • The resource must have experience developing with:
    • Web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Bootstrap, PHP, Angular.
    • APIs.
    • Java/Springboot.
    • Docker and Kubernetes container software.
    • Development of black boxes.
    • Web servers such as Apache.
    • Load testing, load balancing, performance test, automated testing.
    • Relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and MS SQL Server.
    • OS such as Ubuntu.
    Experience in the following will be considered an asset:
    • Experience working with government organizations.
    • Drupal Content Management System module development.
    • API Gateways.
    • Load Balancers and reverse proxies, such as Nginx.
    • DNS Services.
    • Transport layer security.
