About the OpportunityAs a key member of our Customer Engagement Team, you will play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction through proactive support, answering product and service queries, and providing thorough coverage explanations. You will work closely with our marketing, finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless communication across all channels.
Job Description:
As a Customer Engagement Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering product and service queries, and offering empathetic claims handling. You will also handle incoming mail and email from existing clients, process renewals for all insurers, and respond to insurance company underwriters in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences across multiple communication channels
- Answer product and service queries, ensuring customers have complete confidence in our self-serve platform
- Offer empathetic claims handling and remarketing where necessary to meet coverage and premium needs
- Handle incoming mail and email from existing clients
- Process renewals for all insurers, including collecting expiry dates on other lines of business
- Respond to insurance company underwriters in a timely manner
- Actively participate in training initiatives to stay up-to-date with various insurance providers' rules and product features
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent on-the-job experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in home and auto insurance brokerage
- RIBO licensure required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital enablement
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic
- Results-oriented with a customer service focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize conflicting demands
