We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide education and training to individuals, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) or eligible for certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
