Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of large-scale industrial projects, including manufacturing plants, refineries, and oil & gas structures. This will involve working closely with our team of engineers and architects to ensure the safe and efficient design of industrial structures.
You will be responsible for designing and analyzing steel, concrete, and foundation systems for industrial structures, as well as performing structural assessments and preparing engineering reports. You will also lead and mentor junior engineers and EITs, providing technical guidance and coordinating with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) on multi-disciplinary projects.

- Conduct seismic analysis, wind load calculations, and foundation designs for heavy industrial structures
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Ensure compliance with Canadian and US building codes
- Provide construction support, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and performing site visits
To succeed in this role, you will need 5+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in industrial facility design. You should have strong knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and foundation design. Proficiency in Pro, SAFE, or similar software is also required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla Structures is a plus.
