Job Description

Executive Hotel Manager

Urgo Hôtels Canada is seeking an experienced Executive Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotels in Mont-Tremblant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing hotel staff, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations
    • Regularly inspect the hotel and follow up on needs with supervisors
    • Ensure maintenance of buildings and preventive maintenance of building stock
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with brand standards
  • Human Resources Management
    • Communicate effectively and motivate hotel staff
    • Set goals, evaluate performance, and motivate teams
    • Support directors in day-to-day management of their teams
    • Ensure a healthy and pleasant work environment
  • Financial and Material Resources Management
    • Prepare and monitor budgets
    • Analyze financial statements and control costs
    • Negotiate with suppliers and optimize inventory management
  • Marketing, Sales & Revenue
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to establish pricing and strategies
    • Collaborate in the creation of forecasts
    • Collaborate with revenue department to optimize pricing strategies
    • Strengthen the visibility of the establishment
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in high-level management in the hotel industry
  • Human management skills
  • Skills in hotel financial management
  • Comfortable with computer systems
  • Bilingualism (French and English), a third language is an asset
  • Training in hotel management or business administration (an asset)
  • Leadership: management and motivation of diverse teams, conflict resolution
  • Good communication, good negotiator
  • Ability to work under pressure
