The YMCA of Northern Alberta is seeking a skilled Program Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring program quality, scheduling, basic financials, staffing, and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program delivery to ensure quality and smooth operation
  • Manage staff team by providing recommendations for hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions
  • Engage in community partnerships by participating in meetings, facilitating advisor groups, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Support implementation of strategic and work plans by participating in work groups and engaging with the director
  • Ensure cash handling procedures are followed at all times
  • Deliver programs at the frontline level and work with participants on a one-on-one basis
  • Work as a supervisor to a team of three or more members
  • Assign and schedule work for others, complete administrative tasks accurately and timely
  • Occasional travel to Grande Prairie, Wood Buffalo, and Red Deer

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Recreation Management, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Ecology, or Sociology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Mental Health, Non-Profit Organizations, or Human Services
  • Specialized knowledge in Non-Profit Organizations, Housing field, Children and Youth families
  • Standard First Aid & CPR-C
  • Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check
