About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter Assistant to join our team at MODENA TILING INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting tile setters in various tasks related to construction materials handling, site preparation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction Materials Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
