Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the premises to detect and prevent any potential security threats.
  • Access Control: Control and monitor access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and investigate any security incidents or breaches, and take necessary action to prevent future occurrences.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and secure operation.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and detailed reports on security incidents, breaches, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a security-related role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid and CPR Certification: Possess a valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Truck Gate/Warehouse Experience: Experience working in a truck gate or warehouse environment.
  • Physical Ability: Physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
