About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Metal and Mineral Products Processing Supervisor to join our team at Les Sables Olimag inc. as an Operations Manager. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities
    • Oversee the daily activities of our team of central control and process operators, mineral and metal processing labourers, and machine operators.
    • Coordinate and schedule tasks to ensure efficient production and meet quality standards.
  • Improve Productivity and Quality
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure Safety and Security
    • Oversee the safety of our operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage Team and Resources
    • Supervise a team of 1 to 2 people, including central control and process operators, mineral and metal processing labourers, and machine operators.
    • Manage resources, including equipment and supplies, to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience is essential.
