Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Ahluwalia'z Transport Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers
  • Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and labor expenses
  • Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of transportation staff
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in transportation or logistics
  • Experience with transportation management software
  • Certification in transportation safety or security
