Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Seaway Hyundai. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including mechanical units and automotive systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and adjust or replace parts as needed.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide detailed reports to customers.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-44 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
