Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Clerk to join our team at Big Als Aquarium Supercentres. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling

You will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently. This includes counting and reconciling cash drawers, as well as preparing deposits for the bank.

Financial Reporting

You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports will be used to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Accounting and Bookkeeping

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and other financial documents. You will also be responsible for reconciling accounts and preparing tax returns.

Payroll Processing

You will be responsible for processing payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Education

A diploma or certificate in a related field such as accounting or finance is required.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
