Job Overview:
Tirecraft, a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to providing top-notch services in the tire and auto sectors, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling balance sheet and bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor budget performance, prepare reporting, and provide variance analysis to assist in financial planning.
- Provide accounts payable support for multi-location businesses.
- Participate in cash-flow planning and forecasting.
- Coordinate government remittance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Utilize data analytics tools to enhance financial reporting and decision-making processes.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation within the accounting function.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement automation solutions.
Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
