Job Overview:

Tirecraft, a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to providing top-notch services in the tire and auto sectors, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling balance sheet and bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitor budget performance, prepare reporting, and provide variance analysis to assist in financial planning.
  • Provide accounts payable support for multi-location businesses.
  • Participate in cash-flow planning and forecasting.
  • Coordinate government remittance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to enhance financial reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation within the accounting function.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement automation solutions.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
