We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, including inpatient and outpatient services.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (preferred).
- Coronary Care Level 1 & 2 or equivalency (preferred).
- PALS certification (preferred).
- NRP certification (preferred).
- Participation in RNAO (preferred).
- Sound problem-solving, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Arrhythmia interpretation skills (preferred).
