About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team at Duncan's Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication shop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in the fabrication process.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of materials and products.
Work Environment

As a Metal Fabrication Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
