Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supportive Care Projects Coordinator to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our Continuing Care and Seniors' Health department, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading quality improvement and risk management initiatives in assigned long-term care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate projects and initiatives to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and lead quality improvement and risk management teams in assigned long-term care homes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and safety.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and evaluate outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of experience in long-term care.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Advanced presentation, interpersonal, research, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and leadership strategies.
