About the Role

Bombardier is a leading manufacturer of business jets, and we're seeking a skilled Hydro-Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Global Final Line Assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide integrated engineered solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues impacting final line production.
  • Perform technical engineering analysis of existing systems and structural designs to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide technical engineering focused guidance to support functions such as Quality, Methods, and Production.
  • Review functional test requirements and ensure translation into mature functional tests.
  • Work with the product development team to assist with technical proposal activities, including preparation of written material and presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree and eligibility for Professional Engineer registration.
  • 8-15 years' experience in aircraft Hydro-Mechanical systems (Fly-By-Wire & Control Surfaces, Wing High Lift, Hydraulics, Landing Gear, Brakes, etc).
  • Conversant with design, qualification and certification test requirements of Hydro-Mechanical systems.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Familiar with Part 25 certification requirements and advisory material.
  • Strong integration skills, in both system partner management and system technical integration.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office software tools.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
