Cybersecurity Systems Modernization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Modernization Specialist to join our team at S.i. Systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the field of cybersecurity.
About the RoleIn this critical position, you will play a key role in helping our client modernize their cybersecurity capabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in defending networks and detecting, analyzing, and responding to critical incidents. You will work closely with a team of contractors to ensure the security of government networks.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing, analyzing, and applying various networking protocols, internet security protocols, and directory standards. You will also configure operating systems, IT security management tools, and intrusion detection systems. Additionally, you will develop and deliver training material relevant to the resource category.
Requirements- A Secret Clearance
- A Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience as an IT Security Systems Operator
- Experience configuring intrusion detection systems and firewalls
- Experience working on various operating systems (Linux and MS)
- At least 1 project employing or leading server/network firewall configurations
- At least 2 projects employing virtualized environments (VMWare)
