We are seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our team at Loblaw Digital. As a key member of our Ad Tech team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our digital platforms using front-end technologies such as React, Vue, and Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead the development of front-end applications, setting the standard for code quality and scalability.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain applications built in React, ensuring seamless integration with our back-end services.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Drive the design and development of reusable components, advocating for efficient, maintainable code.
  • Conduct and participate in code, architecture, and technical reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Proactively explore and advocate for new front-end technologies and standards that enhance our development processes and user experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in React and a strong foundation in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and responsive design.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide projects from conception to implementation.
  • Proficient in working with Git, including experience with pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD systems.
  • A collaborative approach to building and debugging complex systems, combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong UX/UI capabilities, with a focus on leveraging modern browser technologies to create consumer-facing products.
  • A passion for enhancing software development workflows/processes and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
