Job Description:

The Technology Solutions Architect will collaborate with other Architects, DevOps Leads, and squad team members to define target state solutions and architecture. This role is a unique opportunity to join a team that is accountable for the end-to-end solutioning from first interaction by a client/advisor, through to point of settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in defining blank-page solutions based on client journeys and/or experiences, including participation in Human Centre Design workshops; insurance or financial services experience is an asset.
  • Experience leveraging and integrating vendor platforms, including holding vendors to a technical standard.
  • Experience with Cloud Native (12-Factor) Architecture and Infrastructure Pattern.
  • Experience with Cloud Providers, Azure preferred, and with PaaS.
  • Experience with and knowledge of common Architecture patterns (e.g. Microservices, SOA, Event sourcing, etc.).
  • Experience with data and application integration patterns (Domain-Driven, APIs, messaging, streaming, sync/async).
  • Experience with developing PWA, SPA, and Responsive web applications, along with IdPs,.Net/C#, Angular/React.
  • Experience working in MS SQL Server environments.
  • Deep understanding of business capability definitions, data modelling, integration layers.
  • Designing and solutioning for generating and sending communications including contact orchestration, preferences/permissions, contact-lifecycle.
  • 10 years of combined relevant experience and an advanced university degree in related discipline(s) with concentration in computer science, engineering, information systems or information technology.
