We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Louis Brier Home and Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in providing education and training to our care staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement education programs for care staff, including allied health and support staff
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate education activities
- Provide clinical teaching and coaching to care staff, focusing on gerontological and long-term care best practices
- Develop and maintain quality monitoring tools to measure education outcomes
- Support staff in achieving ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- BSCN required
- CNA Certification in Gerontological Nursing preferred
- Master's degree preferred
- Three (3) years' recent, related nursing experience in gerontology, including two years' experience in client education and/or group facilitation
- Competitive salary range: $49.20-$63.47 per hour
- Full-time, permanent position
