Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to join our team at ONIKON Creative. This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position that offers a competitive salary and excellent opportunities for growth.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining computer databases, collecting data to identify areas for improvement within the company's IT infrastructure, and developing policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Develop and maintain computer databases, ensuring accurate and efficient data administration.
  • Data Analysis: Collect data to identify areas for improvement within the company's IT infrastructure and develop strategies to address these issues.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data.
  • Documentation: Document customers' requirements for projects and document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train, but prior experience in data management and analysis is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MySQL and other relevant data management software.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
