About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Friends Construction Inc. as a key member of our painting crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces, maintaining the integrity of the structure.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wall Covering Specialist: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, providing a professional finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of the job, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as physical demands associated with the job.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
