Job Title: Automotive Repair Technician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Technician Assistant to join our team at GS Autobody and Repair.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a high level of physical fitness due to the demands of working in a fast-paced automotive repair environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with various tasks, including moving equipment and materials, signaling safety procedures, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Help maintain a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • No prior experience required as on-the-job training will be provided
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding role requiring prolonged standing, walking, and bending
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
