About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 3 years of experience in a management capacity in housekeeping. As a Housekeeping Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public spaces meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to resolve issues and improve communication.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in budgeting and cost-control initiatives to optimize departmental expenses.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with colleagues and management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management capacity in housekeeping.
  • Degree in Hospitality or related field (an asset).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel software systems (such as Opera Cloud) an asset.
