About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Gladstone Plant. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring optimal production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including power saws, manual lathes, milling machines, and material handling equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting raw materials and finished products, and assisting with repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other maintenance technicians and production teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • General Machinist Certificate of Qualification (429A) or Tool and Die Maker Certificate of Qualification (403A).
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an industrial environment, preferably in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of machine operations, TPM-Total Productive Maintenance Tools, and safety standards for operating machinery.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and rotate through different days off each week.
  • Punctuality and attendance are essential for this role, as they impact overall team performance and productivity.
