We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Mission Mental Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct and indirect specialized occupational therapy services to clients in our community mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional capacity, occupational performance, and environmental supports to inform treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' occupational performance goals and needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, focusing on skills development, education, and support.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of rehabilitation programs and services.
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
- Two years' recent experience working in a community mental health and/or substance use setting.
- Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
